In the Bears locker room, linebacker Nick Roach expressed his grief, saying “It’s disappointing. It’s very sad to see him go. If you’re a player in the NFL for any number of years, even if it’s just a couple years, he’s a guy that you would want to play for. So it’s sad to see him have to leave.”
